The Faulkner family had a low-key wedding ceremony out of respect for the late Scarlett and Jason
THE MEMORY of the late brother and sister Jason and Scarlett was at the forefront of all the Faulkner family’s minds at the wedding of their nephew James this Monday.
Giant banners with photos of the siblings from Longpavement on the northside of Limerick city were put up at the nuptials (see below).

James, son of Thomas Faulkner – a brother of Scarlett and Jason – and Josephine (Joanne) Duffy, wed beautiful bride Noreen.
James and Noreen had a private wedding ceremony out of respect for Scarlett and Jason.
Noreen posted on Facebook two weeks ago: “Under no circumstances is anybody allowed to come – only my mother, father, sisters and brother and James’ mother and father and sisters.”
Mum-of-one Scarlett, aged 29, died in Cork University Hospital weeks after she was seriously assaulted at the side of a road in Birdhill in March.
Jason, aged 34, who was a pallbearer at Scarlett’s funeral, passed away tragically two days after her burial.
Martin Anthony Faulkner, a brother of Scarlett and Jason, shared a touching photo on Facebook this Monday of members of the Faulkner family in front of giant banners with photos of Scarlett and Jason.
Martin Anthony congratulated the couple and said Noreen is the “nicest bride I’ve ever seen”.
Noreen shared photos on social media of her wearing a dramatic dome-shaped ball gown wedding dress with an embellished bodice.

She wrote, ‘My husband” with emojis of a ring and church under a photo.
Many have commented underneath the posts saying Noreen looks “unbelievable”; “beautiful” and “stunning”.
